Many books about marriage offer good, healthy advice. They teach processes, adages, counsel and a whole list of concepts that can lead to change … eventually. But I am offering something different in the pages that follow. I believe God can do the miraculous in a moment! In a single second, with one decision – in a confession, repentance, or renewed commitment – God can change the course of your future. No advice or seven step plan can compare to an encounter with the living God. That’s what you’ll find here. In each chapter ahead, a familiar chord will sound, and you will begin to see yourself, your spouse and your marriage through the eyes of our sovereign God. It is my hope that you will recognize some part of your life in a paragraph, a story or an illustration, and God will begin to bring clarity to the purpose in your relationship. Marriage is holy, ordained by God, and sacred in His eyes. Whether you are eager to perfect your good relationship, are striving to rekindle a lost connection, or are trying to hold on to what’s left, God has a plan for your marriage. I believe through this book God can speak to YOU! At the end of each chapter, I encourage you to take a moment and hear God, reflect on what you’ve read, and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart. Those moments, those encounters, can change everything.
